This is just a bit of info for my Sisters and Brothers in CHRIST JESUS...

God sooo moved on my heart while I'd been praying for soooo many needs , yes there are many, that HE lead me to passing on this info for the beginning of our New Year in CHRIST......

There are sooooo many suffering, sooooo many needs, whether it is due to health, finances, loneliness etc.. Many of these issues can be GONE in the name of JESUS the CHRIST, and eased by the HOLY SPIRIT.. For GOD is soooo ABLE.. HE can handle all your worries, all defeats, all issues.. Of ANY shape, kind or size... This information IS ALL BIBLICAL too...
Please do look into "The Steps To Freedom In CHRIST" by
Neil T. Anderson.. A well known and very respected author and pastor... My Hubb's and I have went thru this once now and its was soooooo "freeing indeed", as we walk with JESUS HE can and will free us in HIM..... Remember, HE IS MIGHTY to SAVE!!!

There are also books by Neil T. Anderson,
1-) is titled; "The Bondage Breaker" and the other book
2-) "Victory Over Darkness"...
Please note that, when and if you do begin these please ask for extra prayer partners while you go thru the process... satan soooo does NOT want any of us to follow CHRIST JESUS at all, he wants us to go the worlds way, the ways of darkness and sin, and those are satan, the enemies ways and his tricks. He, satan, the devil,and his demons are out to steal, confuse, kill and destroy!!!
Remember Sweet Sisters, You are in my Hubb's and my hearts and prayers...

It can soooo, SOOOOOO help others and You as Followers of CHRIST gathering there to encourage one another and HONOR our Almighty GOD...Creator of HEAVEN and Earth, Through Prayer and Praise...
HE transforms me with every new day.. This has come about in my post as
God has lead me to have a heart for the lost, for those that are depressed,
worried and fearful of what tomorrow may bring... Through prayer and sharing with others in GOD's MIGHTY Word, speaking for myself, the worries and fears are left at the CROSS of CHRIST!!! Be filled with thankfulness, with caring for others and HE will dispell those down/sad feelings and fill your hearts and minds with HIS HOLY SPIRIT, to overflowing in fact!!!

This is just a glimpse of just how beautiful our cemetery is done up here in our small town.
As a kid growing up in California, well, we didn't see this kind of activity at cemeteries. I'm NOT trying to be funny when I say that either, its a fact. WE were not allowed to put decorations up there, due to the gardeners/grounds keepers needing to mow etc. So when we moved here, WOW!!!
Then after my Daddy passed away in 1984, his flag was taken and used as one with all these that go around our cemetery here for Memorial Day . To HONOR all those that served in a war..
My Daddy loved to see them when he was alive. It is pretty amazing to see.
And around 11:00 am there are some military jets
that do a fly over, each year..
Its an awesome sound!!!

My big Brother and Niece took these last year for me when they were here just in time to see the Flags all set up.
In fact they arrived in town on Memorial Day last year.
They moved back to the more tropical~ness of Cali
quite few years ago ..
Yes he left his lil Sister (me) here to face the humidity of summer and the ohhh, so cold, snowy IOWA winters.
I soooooooooo miss him...
Prayerfully they be here again to visit in early July..

Sharing with you some blues from Mom's day at our house.
Being that Jacob 18, and Tommy 16, have pay checks this year, these were there choices for gifts.
For me that evening, the sunshine that our LORD so blessed us with made for some BEAUTIFUL
inspiring photos. Well, in my not professional photographer's eye that is ;0)

These were the cards given to me from the boys.
I'm showing them off today as they did have some
pretty blues in each card.
Notice they are not Dream Doodler Designs either...
Hope you get that, its kind of a joke if you know that Kent and I are blessed having a lil greeting card company of our own.
The boys went else where for these...
Hahahaha, kind of funny don't ya'll agree.

These 2 are soooo filled with Super~Hubb's own sentiments..
I cried because he sooooo touches my heart with thougths of God and our life together.
You see, God directed our paths to each other
a bit late in our lives.
We celebrate our blessings as often as we can, with God ..

He was brought into our Fam. by my Sweet daughter Jenny and my wonderful Grand kids
Griffin and Cassie, a note , that he was purchased at her Hubb's local garden center here in town.

He has been promising to redo our Arch that has been beat up over the years of Iowa weather and 3 boys in the back yard growing up doing boy things, such as football too close to it and catch, and just in general, running around with out looking where they are going ;0)...This is the before photo ...

This is one that I took while veiwing out the passenger side mirror. But is was taken on another trip when the skies were soooo Bright and Beautifiully BLUE... See the miles of road there behind us????
I thought it was pretty...
Oh Yes btw ,,, Hello Ladies!!! Hows things?????
Praying you enjoyed a BLESSED In HIM JOYOUS Celebration of Resurrection Day of our LIVING SaviorJesus Christ...

We have had soooo ,, make that,
SOOOOOOOoooooooooo much going on. Let me fill you in~~~

Our Moms have been needing things, going here and there for them. Then us trying to get new designs done up, and then to load ourselves and the cards into Joy.. Remember now Girls, Joy is our mini van with alll 202000 miles on her,..

And then its time to arise extra early and take off in rainy weather to make our greeting card deliveries...
PRAYING like alllllll the time..Yep, with that many miles on Joy, well, you bet, I think you get what I mean and , yes my ramblings go on.
Its such a BLESSING when were safe and warm in our Hotel room, we had some good PRAYER time together and ate some warm soup and were blessed with much needed sleep..
We knew though that when we arrived back home the boys would have left a messssss,, for Mom here.

And of course, that was cleaned up that late night we
arived back home.
Get this, the boys had really believed they had kept the house nice,,,,soooooooo FUNNY!!!
And I had already made the commitment to make the Easter, Resurrection Day Celebration Supper too for the
extended family to join and eat with us.
The menu was Ham loaf with BBQy Honey Mustard sauce with, Scalloped Potatoes and mixed Vegies on the side..
Thank You Jesus the Celebration went so well. and the few that were here to share a meal with us were fed and Happy!!!
AMEN!!!

And now, in reflecting , I again say, Praise God for getting, us/ me through all of it,
alllllllllll of the above yes, once again.
To bring us to this, another Blessed BLUE Monday with
Super Sweet Sally and all of you!!

And, YES, even more so, for our Precious LORD for answering our prayers for sleep Its like wow, what would I do if I could talk, whine and
plead to God???? Lets just NOT go there ;0)

Super~Hubb's and I have found that the enemy can sure mess things up if you don not have your armor on properly :0)
thats certain...

So when all is said and done,I hope and pray that you weekend of Celebrating Easter was a blessed in Christ, Happy, Healthy and Feastive one!!!

Today I wanted to show you the newest photos of Our Son Jacob and his first Prom. He is a Junior now and on his way to becoming a Senior next year.. Big difference since that of the Baby you see below here... Or toddler, as Jacob is the one holding his brother Tommy in the photo...
Its a very bittersweet time for Mommy here...
Of course he has a LOT of homework to get done still~~~ ;0)
We are very PROUD of him... Praising God for the fine young man He is growing him into.

This may seem a tad confusing, but this is now taken on the official Prom Day 2011
His friend came by since they were both nervous... He was a big help...

What a pose huh... I thought it was cool that Tylor wore pink for his date..
Jacob's date asked for red.. But if you'll notice, each of the photos I made
sure had some BLUE included too!!!

Then to get his date and some friends to Prom all fancy compared to his 97 Buick my daughter Jenny and her Hubb's let him use there "Journey" all weekend...
And speaking of BLUE isn't this a BEAUTIFUL shade....????

The Lovely "Wristlette". Hope I spelled that right...

And for the finale.. The Gorgeous couple.. We were, are sooooo PROUD!!!
In my day, (not that I was ever asked to the Prom or any other dance for that matter :0(         A person went with the one they were dating on a regular basis..
Not anymore as I am told, none of that matters now..
Just a note, we are not sure how other towns/ cities do the event up. Red Oak lays out a Red carpet
at the swankest local Hotel   that we have ...
Sorry Sally, it wasn't a BLUE one...
But if you can see it, God gave us a BLUE Sky kind of day!!!

Oooooooh YUMMY, this was our part of the donation for the after Prom Party..
Wow, are they in season,, sooooo tasty too...
Guess that kind of let the cat (orange) out a the bag.
Now you all know that I had to go and sample a couple of the sweet wedges too..

With it all said and done now. Super~Hubb's and I believe Jacob had a bit of a let down..
At the dance part of it, he informed us that there was "No way" he'd dance
any of those dirty dancing moves.
In his words,,,
"That's all they were doing , they might as well have been having sex right there, and call it dancing". !!!

Now, after hearing that Ladies, because of the way tolerance has allowed teens to do the bump and grind etc."
We are even more proud of him for NOT joining in...
It was a good feeling to know that he was upset by it, and for us, well, we haven't been out anywhere to wittness how they dance now days...
Praise God, we must be doing something right... :0)

And these are some of our figuriens of Christ and some Angels that were gvien to us over the years.. They sit on top of our ebntertainment center.. I sooo love the feel at night when we have the lamp on and the twinkling tiny white lights that run along the top of it...

THE GEESE FLEW BY

The Geese Flew By

The geese flew by forming a “V” in the azure sky,

I stand and look at the pretty sight of the geese flying by.

Seeing the geese flying in a “V” made me remember

That a “V” stands for Victory,

And I think of Jesus shedding His blood and died

on the cross to give us the Victory.

Because Jesus redeemed us with his shed blood for our sins

we have victory over our sins.

Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb but arose Victorious,

Now we praise Him for winning the victory for us.

He is alive seated at the right hand of God interceding for us.

I see the geese flying far away,

But I know they will be back one day

Just as we know Jesus is coming back one day,

Because when He ascended to heaven ,
there was the promise that He would come back one day,

we that have been redeemed by His shed blood

are looking for His return one day.

What a Wonderful day when Jesus returns

and we go with Him to Heaven to stay!

Hello Everyone~~~Happy BLUE Monday!!!

SPRING has soooo started , and its BEAUTIFUL... Its either because we are tired of the COLD or it's because Supper~Hubb's and I are just getting old.
Either way, personally speaking, I'm THANKFUL we've had a couple warm humid days already...YES!!! Woooooooooooohoooooooooo THANK You LORD!!!

And one more added thing to be thankful for is the painted porch..
After years of looking at peely paint on our back porch, or as some in the midwesterners would call them, "stooop's" , Super~Hubb's did ours up all cheery!!!

This is the old paint, it was taken in the Autumn last year. See how the rest of the house had a nice bright creamish yellow..
But not the porch.
And Oooops, there is NO BLUE..Sorry Sally, the rest of the images have BLUE just for you..

In the beginning of this Porch Paint Project, there was GOD and His glorious sunshiny day
with BLUE skies of course...

Super~Hubb's always handy, water bottle, in BLUE.
That is usually near by during all of his projects :0)

Plus the much needed shop vac, to clean up un-necessary foreign thingy's, and the can of paint.

Naturally, his handy dandy screw driver, to use as the can opener.
Don't they make real things to open cans of paint with?????

Seems to me Super~Hubb's here was trying to give advice on how to paint a porch.
Perhaps to the Squirrels near by, and or to me ;0)

And THANKS to all of you also for letting me show off all this work God helped him do.
Next Super~Hubb's will be shingling our roof, all on his own. By that I mean , up and down the ladder with the heavy shingles . I wouldn't make a big deal about it I don't think if it wasn't for the fact my SupermanHubb's has had 3 major back surgeries over the years prior to us meeting .
Coming from old work injuries when he was in his early 20's.. He hasn't let it stop him from ever working. And in this economy, we, like many of you, can NOT afford any contractors... So you see why prayers are necessary..
Which brings to mind asking for YOUR helpful prayers that will be much needed, and a huge blessing for us, during this newest home repair project, for sure.

And as the sun sets beautifully on the day of painting came to an end, we will know that if, we get a chance to slow down and relax on our deck with the local Squirrels, we will see a newly painted porch, "Stoop"
looking back at us :0)
Thank You LORD, for each beautiful BLUE sky and day that you bless us all with,along with the nights that follow.

To begin with Ladies, THANKS ~~~ Kent and I are soooooo Praising our Precious LORD and all of You that have sent prayers up for our safety traveling His creation and for our little greeting card business...
God did open up some new doors for us just last Thursday, giving us 2 new Huge stores in the Omaha area of NE...
And these were 2 places we have tried before to get into but were told NO!!! :0) Isn't Gods timing Awesome... It didn't happen when we wanted it to, but we were told yes when , He supplied them, when we needed them. Did that make sense??
We are VERY excited... Thank You Sweet Jesus and each of YOU Sweet Sisters for your blessed prayers!!!

Ok so,, I found this new place totally by accident Girls...

OK so Ladies, I'd been on an adventure of what to design, in the way of greeting cards, for a town here in Iowa that is supposedly known as the Ice Cream Capital ...
When I came to these little delights I just had to save them and show them to you here, just for Sally's BLUE today..

I figured who could resist Ice Cream and images of Sweet Treats too. PLEASE Know this, in my choices of brands that are on this post , it is ONLY due to the fact that it has the word and color BLUE on there packaging that I am using them... I am in NO way trying to promote ANY company or product you see here in photos.. I will ONLY promote God every chance I get :0) even if its not BLUE day :0)

And in honor of the town there will also be a bunch of new Blue Bunnies designed for our card displays in that area of Iowa too. Prayerfully cute ones liked the furry and oh so plush toys above..
Le Mars Iowa LOVES there BLUE Bunny factory and I think they LOVE ice cream too,,

BUT don't we all LOVE Ice Cream Sisters?????
...So we try to please our customers with cards they'll love to send out..
Plus it soooo makes drawing a lot of FUN..

yes, If I should do the color posts anymore... But I do know that I miss YOU and had you on my mind even when I'm not posting a Color Theme post...
It seems to me that comments are some what down lately.. Must be the SPRING thing going on..
It has been Beautiful here in Iowa ..
Although it was cold enough today for a Soup and a Cresent Biscuit Delight thing~a~majig, so that is what there supper was for tonight...
Sorry, no photos of the meal ...
We've also had quite the time lately with our 18 year old son wanting to rent any movie he wanted and bring it into the house...today it was some rated R horror flick... BUT that just won't fly with us...
You know , the our house our rules card.. We have to use it a lot more now that he turned 18.... He's a good kid really, but you know how the temptation thing goes with them...

Sometimes I try to think,,OK how would Bill Cosby deal with this???? Hahahahaha.

Then I just have to smile....

An Old Poem For Spring and The Vines of The San Gabriel Mission

In 2009 Super~Hubb's and I were blessed with a vacation back to my home state of sunny California.
While we were there one of my longings was to visit the San Gabriel Mission..
These are a few photos we took while there.. Its such a serene and Beautiful place, the above photo is of a mural of Christ.
And with the poem I am posting the next photos of the Grape Vines and flowering vines growing across the
trellises are just soooooo breath taking...
Happily they show some RED brick work and some RED in the trellis also.

This is the most Magnificent Grape Vine ever I believe.. Super~Hubb's and I were stunned as we walked up to it!!!

Yes its truly Amazing Sisters.. And, Wow , I can sure see in looking back that I was 50 pounds heavier then.
Praise God for our visit in 2009 and for my new eating regiment... Sacrificial eating plan :0)

In thinking of being Prayerful for all the catastrophies of late, all over the world. In my search for a prayer to post I found this poem in an old booklet my Mom had.. And wanted to share it with all of you.. Its also why I have shared the photos above too.
It was written by~ Grace E. Easley...

"I Am The Vine" "Iam the Vine" you need ME,

I was happily singing a tune when Super~Hubb's and I arrived home from our last BT because waiting here at home for me wasn't only my Sissi Baby, or our Sons, no Sister's there was also a wonderful gift from Sweet Sally...
It was one of Terri Blackstock's Books.. It seems that Sally being such a Special Lady remembered me writing about T.Blackstock being such a favorite author of mine...
So Super Sister Sally sent, lil-ol-me, this book.

So I tried a few different snaps to show it , and had to incorporate some BLUEs in on the photo too.
This one here I hurriedly added my newest Monster Birthday design," Mookie" that I'd recently finished,..But somehow it just didn't do it for me..

So then I tried laying the book on my couch quilt, thinking it had some touches of BLUE throughout the color scheme.
But, again, it just wasn't doing it for me...
Not sure what it is actually Ladies.
It just didn't have a certain look..

So,when I saw the BLUE Doily on our glass coffee table that my Grams had made eons ago, well, I'll just say,
FINALLY, I was satisfied.. See Sisters I just had to show it on my BLUE Monday post as I'm soooooooooo

You are a Treasure!!!
You sooooooo brightened the fact that when we get home from a longish BT of delivering our greeting cards miles away and going from one store to another to set them up, only to arrive back home to ????? whatever kind of mess our wonderful Son's can think of leaving for Super~Hubb's and I,
in our away time, just sayin, WOW this gift from You was a Bright spot in my night..!!!.
I'd say I was speechless, but as you Sweet Sisters can see, turns out I'm NOT :0) And Sally,
I'm fairly sure that that was a run on sentence, right..
If you Ladies always read my entire posts, you must be use to them by now ;0) hahahaha.

This is the FUN book I'm finishing up before I read the
new Terri Blackstock book.
Its the 2nd one of the series of "Potluck Club" books..

And lastly, Super~Hubb's had something special
waiting for him too.
His next bag of Almond Joy pieces!!!
Yep, he also asked me to please let you all know that, he doesn't eat them all at one time. No, no, no, he usually takes almost 2 weeks to finish the bag.. Notice the word I used, ALMOST ;0)

You've seen Cassie a LOT since she and Grams here are hangin out Mondays after school while Griffin takes off with the guys for the game room in the basement.
The young men of the house like to call it the "Man Cave".

"Man Cave" telling you all to pick up the MESS...

Well Sisters,, what do all of you have planned for this new week???
Any plans for what flowers to plant, what room to start the SPRING cleaning in???
Here at our house Super~Hubb's and I have been thinking and missing the fact that we won't be driving, flying, or traveling in any way to my old home state of California.
Seems to affect him and I this time of year.
Ahhh well, how do ya spell, "Salovee' " in french???... We are using what we got in a tax refund for putting into our business and for a new roof on the house.
And thats a blessing all of its own.. Thank You LORD..
So when my wonderful Super~Hubbs and the boys start in on the roof, I will FOR SURE be sending out major prayer requests. So be ready, PLEASE..

I sooo appreciate the notes and how my heart feels Hugged each tome I read them..
PINK Days are slow in receiving comments of late. REdnesday has been for me too.
BLUE Mondays have been such a blessings though, for sharing in uplifting each other during Sally's wonderful
BLUE Day...
So again, THANKS Sally for always having us...

Now on for the BLUEs in reguards to no Cali and no Disneyland..

These are Eucalyptus Trees I believe and I sooooo miss them..
I LOVE all trees, but this type we do not have in IOwa either. Along with the Palms. Unless of course you buy a phoney one from the store. OR, thinking about it. A woman in another town has a huge hot house for about 4 of them and she pulls them out in the summer.
Wonder if she has a Avocado Tree in there too... YUM

And here it is, home again .. how did I ever survive this freeway stuff??? Oh thats right , I never did like driving.
Thats right Sisters, I still do not drive, and I blame it on being born and raised in Los Angeles for 21 years.
My mom use to say, if you're that nervous, then no one needs you to be on the road.
And I sooooo agree.

A tid bit of FYI for you Ladies, even though I was born and grew up in So. Cal, I didn't get to go to Disneyland until I was 16 yrs old. When a girlfriend had her Birthday there and her parents
paid for her and 2 friends to come along,
I was one of them..
It was an OK time until the 2 friends decided to go with some guys to??? where there while I sat and waited by the entrance alone that night. BUT ,,the good thing was, her Dad got back early and waited with me for them to return to the meeting point we'd sat up at the beginnig of our day there,
my friends had no clue he would be back so soon.... Hahahahahahaha,,,that was cool for me, because, get this, the guys that my friends went with were Marines
on leave.. The whole time I'm thinking,Not good huh.
God didn't give me any trouble trying to decide wether I should run off with a guy of my own while there, I always figured it was because I was never much to look at...
As I look back on it, God was protecting me from being in TROUBLE with her parents too, and then in turn, I'd have been in trouble BIG time with mine also. :0)
Needless to say, I didn't run around with these 2 friends anymore.

This is a DOOSEY Ladies.. I was foolish to be on this ride 1 time and it was 1 time toooooo many ;0)
It looks soooo awesome inside just like the Disney movie, Tower of Terror from the 90's.

This is one of my morst favorite spots at Disneyland.
Just sitting there for lunch, we bring in certain foods and snacks and rent a locker there since food is soooo expensive. Then we find a table, which is hard, and sit down to eat here.

Thank You LORD for my Super~Hubb's enjoying the same things as I do, usually ;0)
And for our Disneyland days of 09 and our future trips there.

You can't really tell by this photo but, this was very entertaining.
The Main St. here is also a most favorite part of Disneyland for us

This was taken by a neat girl who works there for the Fantasia/ The World of Color water and light show.

These were all from just our first day there.
Except for this last photo.
I'm thinking I may post our photos from the day we went to walk on the beach at Huntington next BLUE Monday..
As for now THANKS to all of you Sweet Sisters for strolling through my days at Disneyland in pictures, with me...

I sooooooooo love the way the Sweet LORD has and will work in our lives, if only we wait on Him...
And yes, I know thats not always easy is it....Trust in the LORD forever.. Praise His Holy Name..

Ahhh, here's a bit of PINK.
YOGURT!!!
But it doesnt have to be PINK.
Its one of many of my most favoite foods, while we run all over God's Iowa, ( sometimes IL and Ne too) delivering our cards to the stores with our display units in them..
Not sure if Blue Bunny brand is everywhere, but here in the midwest its the A#1 in Ice Cream and dairy products.
I won't say thats its my favorite brand in Yogurt tho.. Sorry blue bunny, and for using the word blue on PINK day.
I'm not here to give free plugs for any company .. Unless you consider God's Company..
Then, but of course, all the plugs I can give for Him I'll surely give.

We have the kids here on Monday each week. They keep us hoppin' thats for sure, especially when our Billy gets involved with our wonderful Grandson Griffin, watch out!!!

Super~Hubb's and I were traveling as we usually do for our lil business and I was soooooooo in Awe of the Beautiful Moon one night.
Naturally, if you know me at all, I kept trying to get the perfect photo..
But instead I snapped these.. Sorry the bottom one is blurrier, we only have a small digital camera.
And its been dropped at least 3 times in the 4 years we've had it :0)
In "AWE" of God's decorating I sooo am..

Being lead by the Holy Spirit to draw since our last business travels( Praise God, just arrived back home late last night) had me away from my desk,,,ummmmm, drawing board... It is literally a pencil and sheet of paper on a clip drawing board.. Hopefully I'll be adding some new images to my art blog over the next few days...Lord willing that is.. We also have to power grocery shop today, for our home and Moms.. LORD willing for that excursion too. :0) Hope its ok that i'm still using pink.. Its such a Girly Girl color and i'm loving it more and more,,,imagine what the PINKS will look like in Heaven Sisters!!! Wooooohoooooo

Isn't this SPECIAL??? Well, it is to me... My Mondays have been soooooo MUCH more exciting for a year now since meeting up with, Sally ( of course) and every Beautiful BLUE blogging Sister for this Brilliant BLUE Monday event...
Every mile Super~Hubb's and I travel, every article of BLUE we see, we capture on our lil digital camera
specifically for BLUE MONDAY and all of you...
Wow, even our traveling days have been spent feeling more awake with our trusty camera along for the miles. Naturally a good book or 2 can always be of benefit. So I can read to him also.. Here are a couple of books so far. Others were read but did not have the right color on the cover..

This is one of Super~Hubb's favorite series..Emily Brightwell's Whodunits.

And I soooo LOVE Teri Blackstock...I have read many of hers.
She is one of my favorite authors.. I am truly thankful for the Awesome Christian Authors there are out now...

Billy, our 12 year old, just had to try his bike adventure out in front of our house in the snow this weekend.. He'd been so frustrated because it had been so nice and warm and springlike, until,,yep, the last storms hit and there was snow everywhere.. At first Dad told him, " NO WAY are you going out on your bike in the snow and cold", then Dad caved and let him try it for a bit..

Naturally, Billy, being Billy, ( a story all in itself ;0) he LOVES it out in the snow making trails.. That is, until, he brings way too much of the white stuff back into the house with him..So his trail making came to a stop after a short time.

I took these both out our front window, hence the blur and glare.

He was excited Mom here took pics of him. He'll be even happier that I showed it to you today..
The snow has a BLUE cast of light on it, at least, I see it :0)
Prayerfully, it will be melting away in this new week.

And, I'll end this BLUE post with showing you a photo of my kitchen window all frosted over.

Sissi just had to get into my post today..She just had her nail trimmed and her yearly immunization's done..
She may not know it yet, but when her Daddys gets up from his much needed nap, she'll be getting her hair trimmed and washed too. Correction, she'll be getting a style and shampoo ;0)

Hairier, if thats even a word ~You can't even see her pretty collar. But, YES, she is still beautiful either way..

Super~Hubb's and I were having fun during one of our business trips with our mini van "JOY" and the shadow she made on the hills of icy snow beside us as we went on our merry way..This also helps keep each other awake, when the miles have been seemingly endless across Iowa , Illinois and beyond ;0)
Happily the photos above are from two weeks ago.
We just returned from a long one over Thursday and Friday this past week.
We sure praise God for each mile and for the stores we deliver our cards too.
And for the fact that, in less than a month it will be SPRING!!!
Yes Sisters,,,SPRING!!!

This also helps keep us awake over the miles thanks to Sally and her BLUE Monday!!!

This one Sisters we just had to stop and take.. See, Donna Reed is a favorite of ours. We have her shows on DvD called, of course, "The Donna Reed Show"..
She was born and grew up in Denison Iowa. Naturally, many of the ares places and roads are named after her. The towns slogan is, "Denison Iowa, It's A Wonderful Life"...

For us in this house, we also know that with Spring comes new life bursting forth after a COLD winter.
I'm looking so forward to the trees, grass, flowers and wouldn't you know it, WARMTH !!!

And, the Blessed Easter Season, its a Huge deal to Super~Hubb's and myself.
WOW!!!
Just Sunday after Church we re-decorated with all of our Spring things.
I did tell Super~Hubb's that we wouldn't need to redo again until Autumn..
We are both thankful for that, it is a lot of work when we change from one season to another.
Funny huh, its never a lot of work for God :0)

Just so you know Ladies,,these are not my figurines, sad to say, but aren't they sooooo sweet...
All of you have so many neat, special items to share on REDNESDAY.
I've seen some beautiful, and gorgeous dinnerware, tablescapes, and nik~naks while hopping from one blog to another. Thanks for sharing your homes with me Sisters.
We've had a very hectic last few days.. Please don't think I've forgotten any of you, as I surely have NOT...
We help care for and shop for both our Mom's and then there are the boys,, and just keeping up with there laundry, WOW,, guess you can all relate to that, in one way or another :0)
School calls, card deliveries.. Oh yes, the Anniversary celebration.That wasn't ever finished.
Super~Hubb's and I did a lot of running around Omaha looking for a new printer. Took it back, then went up another day, mind you, each drive is about 100 miles round trip, so that when we were done with the stores that closed early, we found that the Restaurant that we'd planned on having a romantic dinner at was also closed. Don't you hate when that happens ;0)

After this kind of days, just having a safe drive to and from, is a huge BLESSING... Thank the LORD!!!
We'll go up hopefully to continue our romantic dinner on the weekend...
Needles to say, at our ages, hahahaha, we are exhausted ... And still preparing cards for another delivery trip at the end of this week.
For some reason I'm a tad down... Can't explain it, not really anyway.
Just many things...Ok Sweeties, back to Dena's drawing table, markers and colored pencils.. Think Its a good time to post a few new designs on my arting blog..

A Blue Monday Valentines on Our Anniversary!!!

I don't know about all of you Sisters, but I sooo enjoy buying a few fun things for my grand kids on Valentines..This year with 2 of our boys working, Jacob and Tommy, they are excited to be able to purchase something for us for the Valentines part of it that is..
I feel a bit guilty that we didn't get them anything silly this year though. But, hey, its not over yet.

For some reason Ladies, I wasn't sure what to post..
I'd been thinking Spring,,YES, SPRING.. As we seem to have spent many a Sunday into Monday in SNOWY freezing cold weather systems..
After all the snow and cold and freezing rains, its natural to think SPRING right..???
And then one thought lead to another, as usual and although it is to be Valentines day soon and that also means our Anniversary too, YEP Sisters,, woooohoooo !!!
My thoughts went from that somehow to
Easter time..
Must be from a Dena moment or possibly from Church today, it was WONDERFUL, the sermon and music..Yes!!!

Anyhoo's Ladies,,it was after I reflected on Church and Our Precious Lord, that a great way to show some blue was perhaps with JELLY BEANS,, or at least, the thought came to mind just like that..
And on the hunt I went for photos of the
SHINNY Lil objects.
They're tasty too on occassion :0)

Aren't they sooo pretty in a way???

Of course, they aren't near as pretty as out Sweet Lil Sissi on her BLUE bean bag bed!!!

Right now its a GLORIOUS Friday night for us because~~~We just got home from another delivery trip to fill our card displays!!! All safe and sound and toasty warm in our home again...
So I just have to SHOUT OUT a BIG~~~Praise The LORD and thank you for all of the safety, the tire holding out after Super~Hubb's added the fix a flat to it in the freezing freezing cold weather of Iowa these past few days of travel... And Praise God continuing since arriving home to find our 18 yr old wonderful son, ( usually he is anyway;0) didn't have the house blown up!!! Thank you Jesus!!! And a HUGE Hugs and Thank You to all of you who left such loving and kind comments for me while we were away!!! You're all so cherished in my heart!!!

If it were possible this very moment, I'd send you all a bunch of Beautiful Precious PINK Roses to say~~~THANKS Sisters for all your kindness and encouragements and more importantly, your Prayers!!!

Can you tell Sister's that I am SUPER Thankful to be home..
There is gobs of laundry to do tomorrow... For now though, I must get in a touch of PINK before I am so far on the list of entries that my number will be 200 or something close to it one way or another;0)

PS::: The trip wasn't great on sales but it sure makes the arriving back home all the more special either way.. God is our foundation not our greeting card sales.. Just so you know, in case you had wondered that is, the economy is still NOT GOOD for most people.. Times are still tough..
But we are making do, and that's what counts.. We are counting our blessings more than twice now days...
And as always you are on my mind, in my heart and PRAYERS...

Just a quick note o keep in touch , with my Sweet Sisters that I LOVE soooo much..!!! And of course ,, that I am soooooo THANKFUL for too.

Super Hubb's and I are busily preparing for a delivery trip to prayerfully, fill our card displays in the North Western area of Iowa...

Maybe, just maybe God will bless us not only with safe travels when we go, but also with MORE SUNSHINE!!!

After the last few BLIZZARD days and nights,,YES, the sunshine will be a very welcome change for our
deliveries... We have been sooo Praising God that there had/have been NO power outages in our town..
And Super~Hubb's and I continue to pray for so many others that are going through the same weather conditions, or worse. Here in SW Iowa we received quite a bit of snow, like 5 inches.
The big deal was the way it was blowing and drifting snow..

This sweet little tweeter, I call them snow~birds, is a blessing for me also. Thankfully there is a clearing made to toss out some bread crumbs and seed for these DELIGHTFUL and Fun fine feathered friends from God.
Thank You LORD, they are a joy to watch on a freezing day.
)

I tell you what Sisters,,my coffee pot stays on for hours in the winter :0

And I'm sooooo Thankful that each and everyone of us are soooo TOTALLY
Loved by our Heavenly Father , Almighty God..

Here's one just for Sally. Super~Hubb's took this for you Sweet Sis Sally, it was on a different trip to deliver our cards last summer.. Hahahaha, I just came across it again.
Isn't he a cutie!!!

And here is Super~Hubb's again designing a displaty rack at one of our stores where the manager won't allow cardborad displays. So here is Kent making one for the Boss there.
Praising God that we even have the store to sell from at all, ya know !!!
We're going out again this mid week to check on the stores in the western area of Iowa that sell our cards.. Praying we keep all the rest of our retailers.
Giving the worries to God of course.

Here is the finished display, set up and filled again with the cards.

And why we Praise the LORD for our own Lil' biusiness and for our safe travels.
Super~Hubb's has figured we did aproximately 20 to 30 THOUSAND miles in our travels last year.

Like, shouldn't there be a plot or something???
I have no Pretty China, Teapots or flowers blooming just yet.. Not here in these Iowa gardens that is.. And, I've been wondering if others are thinking SPRING or is it just me??? Our weather was GORGEOUS for being in the middle of winter..But still, NO FLOWERS BLOOMING, or planted for that matter.
I will share with you though that I did actually update my Jesus blog and this one alos.. Then of coures there is the NEW art/sketch blog I just opened.. To think of it, I was suppose to be drawing,,ooops again..

First, I must say a BIG Thank You for all the Happy Birthday Wishes you left for Super~Hubb's, Mr DreamDoodler!!!

Not only has there been time,well, really there isn't, I'm suppose to be arting these last few days while Super~Hubb's does our taxes,. Anyhooooo's, Did some blog make~overing here and created a new blog that will ONLY have my art displayed. Happy Birthday Super~Hubbs!!! This was a photo of the Black Forest Cake we ordered for him for his 51st Birthday Tuesday...
It was a small family celebration and very special...

Sissi just had to get involved too, weaseling her way to the table by Daddy, The Birthday Boy who has the food ~~~ She is our Lil Miss Piggy I tell you, a regular Lil Moochi Poochi ;0)...

The boys eating and if you look close you'll see my RED lil birds on my coffee mug too, beside my yogurt .. It was a yogurt supper for me since tonight Super~Hubb's and I will have a salad with a movie, and you ask, WHAT is the movie we're going to watch?? It will be "Who shot Liberty Valince" with Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne, or "Open Season 2 " I'm hopeful it'll be the western ...
BTW, see the wires above the windows, its because we decorate the house all up with RED lights for Valentines Season .

Its just me saying ~~~

To my Man~~~my 1 true love~~~Kent "Super~Hubb's"Elwood BLACK FOREST CAKE

So here's an image of what one of the treats will be on his Birthday...
My daughters MiL is like the best (or real close to it that there is), cake baker in this state!!! Her license plate reads "EAT CAKE"...
So we ordered one Special for Super~Hubb's to sink his teeth into Tuesday evening...

There will also be some Snicker Salad.. The men/boys of this house will be in desert heaven... Out of the two deserts for the day, I'm only capable of creating is the latter...
Sure I could have tried the Black Forest Cake bake myself but, what a fiasco that would have been for his BD,,why not get the best ya know, and Praise God !!!

To my Dream Come True Husband that, Our Loving Savior blessed, Lil'Ol me with, when I least expected Him to ~~~ Almost 7 years ago now... And it is a privledge to CELEBRATE another BIRTHDAY with YOU,, and May Our Precious LORD Jesus bless us with many more years to CELEBRATE each day in together...
Of course, all the rest of the Birthday's, Christmas's,
New Years, Anniversary's, Easter's, every one of the Hoilday's.
And well, Winter's, Spring's, Summer's and, Autumn's too!!!

Its been a rather crazy type of beginning to our new week, it started when we received the new Adobe set CS5 for Super~Hubb's puter.The program my S~i~L purchased for us..
And since we left our Church doors in the early afternoon on Sunday , it just continued, through snow storm and after :0).. It just seems to me Sister's, that when interruptions take place in our day,, you know those that get us of track, that God is checking whether or not we will persevere.. ???
Any thoughts on that???

See,, just to share a bit of our days with you Sweet Sister's.. the Adobe CS5 disc just isn't working in Hubb's puter.. It does in mine and in our laptop, BUT, not his..

((Please note~~ this are NOT our real laptop or puters, ours are NOT BLUE :0)) !!!
Now mind you Ladies, it is the same exact puter as mine, but it just won't read the disc.. Needless to say, I am LOST in that field.. I know I have prayed lots.. Then the idea came to Hubb's and he tried one more new thing with it,, and get this, it worked, read the disc BUT that's it. It just stopped there. We sooo needed it to work for the new venture.. This may also be another lesson in patience and God's timing too :0)
So here I am typing my lil fingers out,, oops, I should say, chicken pecking away at this keyboard here, pondering what to do that is BLUE..

In the mean time, He is being Super~Dad now and helping our 18 with some heavy duty math troubles..
So I'm thinking how about CUPCAKES that are of course~~~BLUE!!! And just so you know, I did NOT make these next treats..

Aren't they sooo PRETTY and of course~~~BLUE too!!!

How Sweet The Sound for this weeks Beautiful PINK Saturday!!!

Last week I posted my PINK so late that not many came to visit..Or, I'm praying that was the reason anyway ;0).
This week it may be the same but posting I will do since I have sooooo very many of YOU to thank and give a PRAISE report , to any of you that are curious on how things are going in our greeting card business and in our lives...
But, first off, I just have to ask>>>
HOW, How do some of you get to Beverly's to post sooooo early??? WOW!!!
To get there in time for making it in the top 20 or, hahaha, even the top 50 would be nothing short of miraculous ;0)...
Kudos to all of you that make it there so FAST!!! Is that word even used anymore????

This is going to be longish so,, grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa as I'm going to share about what Sistership ( You Ladies) and PRAYERS can/will do even for a small business like ours here in Iowa.. If God will do that for us then,
Just Imagine What He will do for those who call on Him,,yes!!!

A week or so ago I came to you with concern about our business and asked for prayers.. You were all so kind, thoughtful and gave some heartwarming comments...
So this is to say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !!!
Super~Hubb's and I have since been blessed by not only all of your heartfelt prayers, but also by God blessing us encouragements from Special Sister's to me..

Sally @ Smiling Sally,, wow I could just go on and on :0) there has been soooooo much encouragement from each of you...

The Lord has been hearing your prayers and blessing us and throughout the next few post's I'll try to share some of the things He has worked out for us.. One HUGE thing was during our business trip yesterday at one of the stores we have one of our greeting card displays at..

This is "Humphrey" btw

And before that, was last Tuesday, a call from my Sister-in-Law in California who is now a backer to help a new online business venture that has to do with our Greeting Card Website exsisting and another one that will coinside with it.. Of course Super~Hubb's has some major studying and work to do before any more will happen, after we receive the new CS5 that Kathy ( My SInL) has just purchased for the actual DDWG to coninue.. That stands for the new " Dream Doodler's Web Gems "
We are going to expand into so many more things to offer than just greeting cards..Now this will NOT be an over night thing, and importantly it is all in God's timing. Just as it was on our last BT. just by His hand we ran into my old boss who first gave me the chance years ago to sell my cards from a big store.
Rememer I was so wonndering IF God still wantedd us to continue with our small business???? Well, after talking with my old x boss, who is now one of the Boss's of the chain of stores we sell from,, well, WOW, God was sure sending Super~Hubb;'s and I a BIG message through this man.
So as you read here,, PRAYERS are always needed for not only Us here in "Dream Doodler Cottage" but we all could use a few prayers now and again,, right Sister's.. So please let us know if any of you have any prayer requests. It would be our privilege. Kent and I pray together each morning and each night... So do not hestitate in letting me know..

When I figue out how to explain the new business endeavor better I will. It is so very exciting to have a backer to start off with for it though.. And it was all her idea.. And get this Sister's, she divorced my brother like, 29 years ago but, she and I have still kept intouch and honestly, I've always called her Sis...
We just didn't talk very often really over the years.. She is in California still, where I'm from.. So this was a HUGE Surprise from Our Heavenly Father!!!
I would send her emails here and there. Never spoke to her of our business though.. Just do that with all of you.. Funny how God works things out for His Glory huh!!!

So here in Iowa we are ever Praising God... And Thanking Him for such Sweet MAGNIFICENT Sister's like YOU!!! I treasure each one of you...

Today I was at a loss as to what to post RED... Super~Hubbs and I are working hard in our office. There are so many thoughts, concerns and prayers on my heart, that I had no real plan for RED Day and I also knew this post would be late.

There are not enough or the right words to express my THANKSssss to all of you for your thoughts and prayers for us, our business and home...Just know I'm ALWAYS sooo grateful to each of you ... I'll update everyone soon on what's new and give a Praise report on everything.. Super~Hubb's and I both know just how powerful all of your prayers have been!!! I'm hopeful there will be much to share next time..

For now though Sweet Sister's,,,I pray that you too will get out your most favorite slippers ( no these are not mine, but they are sure cute), and keep on BLOGGING for God and for the Rich and Radiant color of RED!!!

Well BLUE Sister's,,God has blessed us with some beautiful snows here and with that of course comes, Icy Cold Temps too, like tonight after midnight, it is very likely well be receiving freezing rains!!!... So in honor of Him and the beauty of this weather I sat pondering images of BLUE Icicles... So~~~Away I go for some delightfully beautiful images :0)
and some nice Hot Cocoa mugs and such to warm a body good..As I was typing my lil heart out I noticed after posting this that I lost yet another friend/follower, Sister in blogging.. I think that makes 3 or 4 this week alone... How sad... Well, sorry ,If I do not please everyone.. I never mean to offend, just love and care about all of you..

There is just nothing quite like God's brilliant crafting Ladies...

Now this was a special find as Super~Hubb's and I have talked many times of saving up to go,
( that's all it will ever be no doubt ;0) of going back home to California and being there in time to see Disneyland's Christmas decors.. This is the Castle all decked out in Icicles for the celebration..,. WOW!!! Guess it just depends on what God has in the wings for us.. :0)
And honestly, I'd just rather be healthy, happy,in love with my Hubb's and following Christ and
of course, paying the bills we already have.. But, its nice to talk about huh...

Oh my GOSH Ladies,,, these are fabulous aren't they. Too bad they are NOT my BLUE fuzzy slippers though.. Hope and Pray you're all keeping your lil toes all snug as bugs, in fuzzy slipper's this time of year!!!

Looks yummy doesn't it Sister's, found this on Bing images like the others, but its an add for a wonderful looking Market in Long Island called, "Vendara Raviolli" I believe... By the photo I saw, it appeared to be a really whimsical Market for those who live near there that is..

These are rather pretty, but my favorite find on Bing images is below at the end of this post.

Woooohooooo Ladies, its Ovaltine,,,WOW, its been years since I made any of this sweet warm elixir for myself.. Why is that I wonder, as the container states,, "FAT FREE" that sounds like it's for me!!!

I just LOVE this mug,, I would even if it was filled with, warm, inviting, and delicious, french vanilla coffee Sister's . Ahhhhh, my favorite!!!
