As a child my mom ALWAYS had on the Macy's Parade so now Kent and I do as soon as we get up that is!!!

Mom usually had one of these Cornucopia's as a center piece during the festivities too~~~

Of course,, this is what the men folk in our home are thinking of doing on that special day Thursday November 25th !!!

Now "Peanuts" you know, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and don't forget Pigpen everyone.. We'll be watching that soon ourselves, Charlies Browns Thanksgiving.. Its tradition ya know.. A Joyous one in fact... Super~Hubb's and I will be cooking a lot over the next few days.. So YES, do keep us in your prayers , its always important but even more so when I'll be in the kitchen !!!!!
Just an added note, you will all and are all in my prayers each night and sometimes throughout my day.. You,, Sweet Sisters in Christ,, mean sooooooooooooo very much to my heart!!!
I leave you now with this ~~~Wishes for a blessed Thanksgiving Day for you and yours in Jesus Christ..
With lots of love of family around, good food, and Hope in Our Sweet LORD for each new day...
My prayer for you is to know His LOVE & Blessings and to be THANKFUL in all things, in all seasons,, because He is the Reason for every Season...

  6. Hi Dena,
Your post made me laugh at the end...prayers are needed while I'm in the kitchen this week! I feel the same way. :o) My oldest son, hubbys parents, my sister and her family along with the my parents will be here by Wednesday. I've been sick with a bad cold. But today I've got to get up and get going getting this house cleaned up and start preparing all the food. No time for the sick to be sick!!
Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful that I found you via blogging, my friend.
    Fondly,
    Ann
