If any of my Sweet Girlfriends out there in the blogisphere of beautiful blogs knows of any nice weekend memes???
Preferably for Saturdays and of course Christan types, you know Girlfriends,,I believe the correct wording is Family style Memes.
Similar to Blue Monday, ahhhh, Friday Follow, etc. I have wanted to try Thankful Thursday but am not sure where to go for that one. Then there is Pink Saturday but I think I need an invitation for to be involved in it.
Suppose I could just go to the list of neat ladies that are linked up at Smiling Sally's and Friday Follow...Kent (my hubb's) is napping, he has not been feeling the best for a few days..I have already done my machine exercises ( an elliptical that's here at home,NOT like the gym's either ;0( That style will just have to be in a new prayer request huh...No, it seems wrong to ask The LORD who is soooo use to listening to my praise's, whims and whines, those are the worries I just can't seem to shake that I keep giving to HIM ....It just isn't right to ask for something silly like a new machine... WOW,,,did I really just ramble on about that or what???? Now you know why I ask about the MEMES ...
Also, if any of you are thinking to yourselves about now,,why doesn't she get back to the doodle board in her office so that her Hubb's won't be bugging her to CREATE new designs,,,well, I actually have just about finished a new fall trees design..It is still asking for a pumpkin or 2 to be included somewhere in it.

FYI::: The above image is an older design from about 2008 if my memory serves me correctly. Just to let you know it isn't the new one :0)
So PRAISE GOD,,,it has been turning out nicely,,,not by my hand but HIS for sure.
Another thing that keeps popping in to my mind is the,,we call them God Songs,,,
The one that says,,He is the Everlasting GOD,,the Everlasting GOD..
Thats all I can remember just now Sweetie's..
How about you, do you ever get an Awesome song about the LORD going round and round in your minds????
And what do you think,,,is it ok to listen to some secular music after you've grown in your walk with HIM??? It is one I seem to ponder on at times.

Cate does a 6-word Saturday meme that is quite popular. but it isn't specifically Christian based. You just describe something in 6 words. You can write about it but the statement should be six words.

I think I know that Everlasting God song you have in your mind and that is a good one!! I have lots of different ones that rotate through my mind, LOL, but I like "How Great is our God" a lot to sing in my head. I like when I wake up in the morning with a song in my head praising our Lord!

Great post and wonderful illustration, my dear. I've been drawing like crazy lately trying to get this portfolio done. Hopefully, I'll have something by the end of the week to submit to possible agents who'll represent me.
ReplyDeleteThere's a song that I love from an artist by the name of Morette Brown-Clark. It's called The Sovereign God. You can find it on Youtube if you want to hear it. For many years, I didn't listen to any secular music after receiving salvation. Now I do listen to some, like old school songs and some jazz. I'm very picky about what I listen to and I don't think anything is wrong with listening to some secular music as long as you know what you can and cannot handle.
