Do stop by Beverly's and have some fun and make some friends @ How Sweet The Sound
for this weeks Beautiful PINK Saturday!!!
You are all such Sweet Friends and Sisters to me,, I just know in my heart of hearts that, Our Father in Heaven sends you my way because you are all soooooo HEAVENLY !!!
Now perhaps some of you may not agree with me, but I dare ask, does it appear to you that God may have just added a splendid hue of PINK in these leaves????
This is a photo of our front tree as God had touched it with His Divine hands creating these fantastic Autumn colors for us to enjoy from our front picture window..
And in thinking about it, with the leaves all blown away now and FINALLY getting some rain tonight, Super~Hubb's and I will be celebrating by watching a late movie
after the boys have all tucked themselves in for the night tonight.
What movie will we watch you may be asking long about now, why, it is going to be~~~
"White Christmas".. It is a tradition in our home for Kent and I (Super~Hubb's) at the start of each Thanksgiving~Christmas season...
It came to me to try and find the 1 image of "White Christmas" the movie that had the most PINK in it just for fun...And they really had one!!!
See,,if I had changed it to "PINK Christmas" in honor of PINK Day or "I'm Dreaming Of A PINK Christmas", you know ladies,, like the White Chrsitmas Tune.
Does sound a bit odd now that I've said it .. Of course, if you LOVE Pink it wouldn't, would it???
We have quite a few Christmas movies we watch 1 or 2 nights a week until Christmas.
In fact, Christmas day the last offical movie of the season is,,
"It's a Wonderful Life"... Super~Hubb's and I soooo love the classics best.
Sorry about the word White in my ramblings above on this PINK day ;0)
We ALWAYS have quiet time prayers together going over our day, before we ever start our movie nights. So my prayer for each of you Sisters In Christ will be for you to have a time or two in the coming weeks to sit with your Hubby's and catch a classic Christmas movie or two, all cozy on the couch, popcorn or ice cream at hand too, naturally, while you relax and enjoy your time together.. Super~Hubb's prefers carmel peanut clusters here at our house. Sometimes even a green lettuce salad to start things off is yummy for me. But I too go ahead and munch on 1 of the carmel clusters ( to his 8 ladies ;0) Honest...
May you enjoy many beautiful moments as you celebrate the days leading up to,
Our Saviors birth.
Wishing You Sweet Girlfriends~~~A Blessed PINK Saturday and THANKS for reading yet another of my rambling posts :0)

I love those leaves! God is so creative!
ReplyDeleteHey Dena. That was really a great pink post. It seems so early to start the Christmas season but that is a lovely tradition. My sons are grown with families of their own so we don't have any Christmas videos here and usually just do a lot with our Florida friends. Have a sweet Pink day.
ReplyDeleteI love your header and the picture of the tree in your front yard...yes it does have pink in it.....and the leaves falling on your post...all wonderful reminders of our creative Father who loves beauty....
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post to get us all ready for the upcoming holidays.....culmunating in the birth of our Savior....
Hugs and blessings
Yes I do think God decorated those leaves with pink! I doubt I can get my hubby to watch the movies with me but each year for me I must watch these:

Miracle on 34th Street - original

Prancer

What beautiful leaves! I've never sween any like that! Hey gal! What happened to the e-mail you were going to send me? LOL! I though I was the only forgetful one like that. LOL! Here's wishing you and your family some wonderful Holidays! Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I wonder if someone planned the words to go that way. You never hear Happy Christmas or Merry New Year or Merry Thanksgiving. It's always Happy, Merry, Happy. Leave it to me to think of something like that! LOL!
